We would like to dedicate this first post to answering the questions of those who have just entered our website and want to know what’s going around here. Who we are? Why has this initiative been taken? In particular, what does The Society Azerbaijan community consider as its main objectives?

It is not a random fact that in the 21st century our world is confronted with such a situation: business, together with technology, is accelerating to such an extent that so many people are in seek of using these growing resources for their own benefit (in the bottom, for their profit). And there are considerably lots of people who have succeeded to transform this benefit into their track of business or career. In Azerbaijan, particularly in Baku, this fact has been taken a form of a trend which as time passes inspires amounts of people to create, to learn and to share as they grow. Being in the pursuit of developing different startup ideas and innovations, these people have advanced to carve their names as the most successful entrepreneurs in the region. Precisely, our initiative has been established around this trend.

Who we are? Our team comprises of 5 people who have come together to identify this gap and perceive its exhaustive necessity. The fact that every member of our team is aware of the essence of a targeted objective makes our team much stronger and solid. This, in turn, forces each team member to perform at his/her best while operating their responsibilities. Because we all comprehend that success is solely where everyone is so cognizant about his/her duties.

Well, what about the essence of our goal? Which commitments do we offer? We thought that in such a period of time when the number of successful startups and innovations is enormously increasing, it could be great to disseminate their success stories through the world and make their voices be heard by millions of people who also dream to be so. Mainly, we have 2 explicit goals: 1) to spread those entrepreneurs’ voice in a large scale in order to facilitate their access to the world job market and international business; 2) to prove that in Azerbaijan technological advancements and improved business ideas also yield productive work force to the global world. These points, in essence, create an implicit 3rd goal which is the last but not the least:  while our initiative takes a form of a global project and impacts the world job market effectively, meanwhile it will lead to the development of the society of Azerbaijan both collectively and personally.
